The Mandatory Student/Band Parent Meeting will occur Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 7PM in the High School Auditorium.

Congratulations to Hayden for his performance with the PMEA District 1 West Band at Upper St. Clair High School on March 21, 2026.
The Band was comprised of students from schools all over Allegheny, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland, Fayette, Butler, Beaver, Lawrence, and Mercer Counties, and was led by guest conductor, Dr. Shelby Chipman, Director of Bands at Florida A&M University

Congratulations to Emmalyn, Heather, Cameron, and Hayden for her performance with the PMEA District 1 West Band at South Park High School on February 7, 2026.
The Band was comprised of students from schools all over western Allegheny County, Washington, and Greene County, and was led by guest conductor, Dennis Glocke, Emeritus Professor of Bands from Penn State University
Special Congratulations to Hayden for advancing to PMEA Region I Band, held at Upper St. Clair High School on March 19-21, 2026.

Groundhog's Day Festival
Groundhog's Day Festival
29 West Mifflin Band Students attended the McKeesport Grounhog's Day Festival at McKeesport Area High School on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025.
The Band was comprised of students of students from West Mifflin, South Allegheny, McKeesport, Serra Catholic, and Clairiton School Districts.
Our students had the opportunity to work with Mr. Don Green, retired director of bands from Yough School District.
The Band also had the honor and priviledge of working with world famous tubist, Dr. James Gourlay - Director of wind bands and professor of tuba/euphonium at Duequesne University. Dr. Gourlay performed the concert with the students and was also featured as a guest soloist with the group!

Congratulations to Grace Zagorski for her performance with the PMEA District 1 West Band at Hampton High School on January 25, 2025.
The Band was comprised of students from schools all over western Allegheny County, Washington, and Greene County, and was led by guest conductor, Dr. Cheldon Williams - Director of Athletic Bands at West Virginia.
